Michael Giasson grew up in the Lewiston, Maine area. He is the oldest of four brothers who have all been in the building supply industry most of their careers. Mike was a standout in High School and graduated in the top 10 % of his class. He attended Central Maine Community College for two years for Business Management. While in college he obtained his Property and Casualty License and was an insurance agent for Insurance.com. He obtained further non-residence licenses in multiple states and assisted the company in growing their business until he left for Kamco Supply Corp in 2002. Mike was a standout employee at Kamco for 15-plus years and received multiple awards for outstanding performance and leadership. He spent most of his time with Kamco as a crane operator and won several companywide competitions.
Mike resides in the Oxford Hills area with his wife Tiah and their son Connor. When not working he enjoys sports and is an avid outdoorsman. He is very excited to be joining the GIC family and looks forward to a long and rewarding career here.
