Product Description

Offering proven energy savings, an 83% recycled content and low embodied energy (the amount of energy it takes to manufacture), National Fiber’s Cel-Pak is a great choice for you, your family, and the environment.

  • Cel-Pak offers significant savings on your heating and cooling bills.
  • Cel-Pak has a recycled content of 83%. A National Resources Defense Council report2 says, concerning recycled content, “The fiberglass industry averages 35% recycled glass, while the cellulose industry averages a minimum 75% recycled content.” Sprayed foam insulations typically have very low, if any, recycled content.
  • On embodied energy, the same NRDC report cited above concludes, in their summary of findings, “It takes more than 10 times as much energy to produce fiberglass insulation as cellulose insulation.”
