Applications
SmokeBlock® Caulk is intended for use in wood frame walls and floors. Some local codes require the use of non-combustible fireblocking materials in openings around vents, pipes, chimneys, fireplaces, and general building seams to openings. SmokeBlock® can be used in construction such as one or two family dwellings. Any general building openings, as well as horizontal and vertical penetrations of the living unit envelope (indicated in blue below) must be sealed.
