General Insulation Company understands the demanding requirements of servicing Division 4 and Division 7 project specifications in the Commercial Sector and therefore we are proud to announce our new Building Envelope Division. Time management is critical and our supply-chain organization enables us to source and supply waterproofing, roof, below grade, vertical, and air barrier building envelope products efficiently and on time.

GIC’s Building Envelope Division provides job-site managed inventory services enabling contractors to achieve their necessary productivities as well as facilitating a cleaner and safer environment. Gerry began his career with General Insulation in 1988 as an Outside Sales Representative.  Gerry’s experience and success eventually led him to the position of GIC’s National Sales Manager in 1995.  Gerry excelled as GIC’s National Sales Manager and was promoted to Regional Vice President in 2008.  In his new role as Vice President of GIC’s Building Envelope Division (as of April 1, 2018) Gerry is responsible for developing and growing the Building Envelope business for GIC. He has several Specialists reporting to him and he has identified key markets throughout the U.S. to begin to support the business. An important part of any new business at GIC is the identification and support from key vendors. Gerry is spending much of his time addressing this key component to success.
