ITW's Strap-OnTM jacketing is a complete, factory-fabricated metal jacketing system. It is supplied in precut and rolled sections to accommodate pipe size and insulation thickness. It is available in Aluminum and Stainless Steel, and is applied over all types of insulation for industrial or commercial applications. Strap-On jacketing is installed easily, saving time and money. It is specified for use in power plants, chemical plants and many other types of installations.

Strap-On jacketing is supplied in 36" and 38" wide .016" aluminum conforming to ASTM B-209 designation. It is available in 36" wide stainless steel conforming to ASTM A-240 designation. The sections have a continuous modified Pittsburg Z-Lock on the longitudinal seam. Each section has a self-gauging 2" built in overlap. Each 38" wide section of aluminum Strap-On jacketing covers each 36" wide section of pipe insulation.

For each section of jacketing, a Fabstrap is provided. When secured with the Fabstrap, the jacketing system provides a tight, weatherproof seal. The standard metal thicknesses are: Aluminum .016", Stainless Steel .010" T-304 or T-316 alloy. Other alloys and thicknesses are available upon request. Strap-On jacketing is available with *Polysurlyn or polykraft moisture barrier.
