ITW's Lock-On (Childers) Z-Lock (Pabco) is a factory-fabricated metal jacketing system used throughout the thermal insulation industry. It is available in Aluminum, Stainless Steel. It can be applied over any insulation.

Lock-On / Z-Lock jacketing is supplied in 36" sections with a modified Pittsburg Z-Lock on the longitudinal seam. Each section of piping is supplied with a butt strap. When the butt strap is secured with a Fabstrap, the system is virtually weatherproof. The butt strap is two inches wide which allows for variations in butted conditions.

The standard thickness of metal are: Aluminum .016" and Stainless Steel .010". Other thicknesses are available upon request. Lock-On / ZLock jacketing is supplied with a moisture barrier in all metals. Best suited for O.D.'s 16" (including insulation) and smaller.
