As of February 4, 2008, Phil Binkley of the Millbury, MA branch started his new job at the corporate office. Phil is helping us develop part of our office into a new training center for employees.

This position was initiated through the thought of refining our product inventory by clearing up the product descriptions, merging duplicate codes, and maintaining the overall handling of new product development and pricing.  In order for General to move ahead, we first have to understand the root of this puzzlement.  To understand the root of our problems, Phil is helping to implement a new directive of training and education.  Our focus is to provide a level playing field for all to follow; once that is established, we can take the next steps in the evolution of General Insulation Company.

The concept is simple--eductation and dedication in order to focus on common goals.  The purpose of the new training center is to bring our employees into one main location for a 1, 2, or 3 day training session that focuses on all aspects of our business.  This training will provide a better understanding not only through the training itself, but through the learning and interaction from all who are present.
