General Insulation is pleased to announce that Mark Blumenthal has joined the corporate office to fill the role of Information Technology Manager. Originally from Sharon, Massachusetts, Mark attended RETS Electronics school after completing high school. Mark continued technical training by attending Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston at night.

Despite Mark’s technical education and background, he is no stranger to the insulation industry. Mark worked for AGM Industries for 20 years working in positions with the engineering sector as well as the customer training and support side of the business. The customer training and support field first introduced Mark to General Insulation. He trained several General Insulation employees in the pin welding applications.

Mark left AGM Industries to enter the computer and printer service field. Most recently, Mark worked for Managed Technology Partners as a Help Desk Response Engineer in the Boston region. Mark will use his diverse background in insulation and technology to his advantage in his role of IT Manager for General Insulation Company.

Mark lives in Walpole, Massachusetts, has two children, and enjoys computers, music, reading, playing cribbage, and fixing anything that’s broken.
