General Insulation in Toronto welcomes its newest employee—Outside Salesperson Gerry McCann. Gerry emigrated from Ireland in 1982 to Toronto, Ontario. At this time, Gerry began his sales career in the construction supply industry. Ten years later, in 1992, Gerry relocated to the Southwestern Region of Ontario where he was responsible for opening supply house branches in the cities of Windsor and London, Ontario. In this region, Gerry serviced the electrical, mechanical, and drywall construction industries.

In 2005, Gerry changed gears, but stayed in the same industry—he began servicing national accounts. Over the last two years, Gerry has been honing his skills, through the Insulation Contractors Association, in 3M’s fire stop product line—specifically with fire wrap.

With his new position at General Insulation, Gerry is brought back once again to the Toronto region.
