General Insulation is pleased to announce a complete renovation of the Austin, Texas branch line up. Former Austin Operations Manager Nick Shore has been promoted to General Manager of the branch. Nick—a Massachusetts native—graduated from Salve Regina University with a degree in Information System Sciences. After college, Nick worked as a commodities broker for four years before his high school friend Ron Twombly of the Worcester, Massachusetts branch introduced Nick to General Insulation. Nick began working for GIC as an entry-level warehouse employee in Orlando, Florida and quickly worked his way up the ladder to General Manager. Nick’s experience in all levels and departments in a branch will make him a well-rounded GM.

With Nick’s promotion, his former Operations Manager position opened, leaving space for General Insulation’s own Brandon Curley of the Dallas, Texas branch to be promoted from insides sales. Brandon is quite familiar with the daily operations of a branch, having started as a truck driver, moving up within the company to Warehouse Manager and then to Inside Salesman. In his free time, Brandon is an avid sports fan, and coaches youth football. Brandon’s coaching theories directly translate to his new position. Brandon instills discipline, hard work, and courage into his young athletes, and the same process will make Brandon a great Operations Manager.

Rounding out the new lineup is recently hired Outside Salesman Joey Regitz. Joey grew up in the Austin Texas area. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Media Communications from Texas A&M Corpus Christi. After college, he worked with Chase Insulation, a local residential and commercial insulation contractor. After many years of service as an outside salesman for Chase he was introduced to General Insulation. The relationships, skill set and area knowledge learned over multiple years of experience at Chase will provide for an easy transition for him to a different segment of the insulation industry, where he looks forward to putting his attributes to work for the company.
