General Insulation is pleased to announce the promotion of Tony Roy from the Albany, New York branch. Tony, formerly the Operations Manager of the branch, is the General Manager as of October 1, 2010. Tony graduated from Bridgewater State College in 1992, and served in the Army Reserve from 1988-1994. Before joining General Insulation, Tony worked for BJ’s Wholesale Club for two years in the accounting department. In 1994, Tony started at General Insulation as an Inside Salesman in the Boston branch under Scott Campbell. In 1996, Tony was promoted to Operations Manager and then transferred to the Albany location. As of the start of the new fiscal year, Tony will be the General Manager in Albany. Tony lives with his wife and their pets and enjoys the outdoors and various recreational sports.

Bill Leffingwell has also been promoted. Bill joined General Insulation in 1997, and was promoted to Warehouse Manager in 2001. With Tony taking the reigns as General Manager, Bill was asked to step into the role of Operations Manager. Bill accepted his promotion and begins his new role on October 1. Bill loves spending time with his dogs and is also a motorcycle enthusiast.
