General Insulation is pleased to announce that Matthew Ouellette is now the Inside Sales Representative for the Lewiston, Maine branch. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Business Economics from the University of Maine at Farmington. Prior to joining the General Insulation team, he has had both sales and warehouse experience. Matthew has been with General Insulation since July 2011 working as a driver and a warehouse worker. During his time in these roles, Matthew was able to learn the products that General Insulation sells and made valuable contacts with the customers we service. Matthew was born and raised in Lewiston, Maine. When not working, he enjoys running, snowshoeing, working out, fishing, and snowboarding. He is excited to utilize his customer service, communication, and sales skills and experience for the Lewiston, Maine branch.

Nick Ring in Tampa
General Insulation is pleased to announce that Nick Ring is the new General Manager for the Tampa, Florida branch. Nick was born and raised in East Providence, Rhode Island. Nick is a graduate from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, and completed co-ops as part of his coursework. Nick gained experience through his co-op work with Connecticut State Police Headquarters, State Street Bank, and a few law firms in the Boston area.
After college, Nick worked as the Operations Manager at Ultimate Parking, and then spent time in sales in the real estate and insurance industries. Nick then pursued a career in the service industry and managed a staff of over 30 people. After a few years in the restaurant business, Nick decided to change industries again. This time, Nick sought an opportunity at General Insulation. After training in the Malden branch in Massachusetts, Nick and his girlfriend of 5 years relocated to Florida where Nick became the General Manager of the Tampa branch.
Through Nick’s education and his experience in operations management, sales, and customer service, we know that Nick will be an asset to the Florida market. Please take a few moments and congratulate Nick on his new journey!
General Insulation is proud to announce that Paul Miller has been promoted to General Manager of the Columbus, Ohio branch. Born and raised in Brockton, Massachusetts, Paul worked as a Project Manager for a General Contractor in Massachusetts which specialized in interior remodels for retail stores for many years before working for GIC. Paul moved to Columbus in October 2011 as an Inside Sales person. Shortly after, Paul was promoted to Operations Manager.
Paul’s prior work as a Project Manager and the skills he has garnered since joining the GIC family will make him a successful General Manager. In his spare time, Paul’s hobbies include reading, fitness, and anything involving Boston sports.

A Promotion in NJ
General Insulation is pleased to announce that Ray Blanchard has become the General Manager of the Carteret, NJ location.
Ray was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. Ray joined the GIC team in August 2011 as an inside sales rep, and also oversaw the team in the warehouse. Ray joined GIC with over 12 years of sales and retail management experience. Through those experiences, and his time thus far at GIC, Ray will be a perfect fit as General Manager.
Ray has been married for 10 years and has two children, Lauren and Emma. In his spare time, Ray enjoys politics, reading, and smoking fine cigars.

New Beginnings in the South
With great pleasure, we announce the promotion of Raul Martinez of the Harlingen, Texas branch. Raul is now the General Manager of the branch. Former General Manager Steve Shore recently relocated to Fort Worth, Texas to open a new warehouse.
Raul was born and raised in San Benito, Texas. Raul has fifteen years in the HVAC industry, ranging from warehouse maintenance, shipping and receiving material, to inside sales. Prior to joining the GIC team, Raul gained extensive knowledge in fabricating fiberglass duct board, installing and troubleshooting air conditioning systems, and in customer service.
In early 2010, Raul joined GIC as a member of the warehouse team. By mid-2011, Raul was promoted to inside sales, where he remained until early 2013 when he was promoted to General Manager of the Harlingen branch.
Aside from Raul as the GM, the team in Harlingen includes Martin Sanchez as the Operations Manager and Jose Saucedo as the Inside Sales representative. Please join us in congratulating Raul and wishing good luck to the Harlingen team.

Ft Worth, Texas is cowboy country with an emerging urban population. Just outside the city limits, it’s all ranches, farms. In between these ranches and farms, there are several OEM’s and industrial facilities. The population of Ft Worth is expected to more than double in the next 10 years, which will lead to a rapidly growing infrastructure.
I grew up in Hingham,Massachusetts and went to Middlebury College in Vermont. I majored in computer science and discrete mathematics. After college, I moved to Miami and became a government licensed commodities trader/broker. For 7 years, I traded crude oil, gasoline, gold, silver, any agricultural products for high net worth investors. When the markets crashed in late 2008, our industry became obsolete due to investors pulling all their money out if the markets. At this point, I moved to Cancun, Mexico to trade on the foreign currency markets.
I left Mexico and contacted General Insulation. Nick Shore had been telling me for years how great of a company it was, and I felt it was time to pursue a career with stability. I began with General Insulation in November 2010, and was relocated to Harlingen, Texas in January 2011 where I became General Manager. I just moved to FT Worth last week to open GIC branch 50.
